I write about books, culture, and myself, with the occasional foray into other topics. I regularly interview authors for Electric Literature and Bookforum. For more on my criticism ethos, see this interview with Bookmarks. In late 2017, I cofounded the Triangle House Review. I’m working on a novel about alternative education and young women’s narratives.
I am available on a freelance basis to provide research assistance for journalists and literary writers, editing and critique for narrative manuscripts, content creation for arts organizations, and transcription services. Contact me if you’d like to see a list of references and past projects.
